The person who inspires me to stay smiling...
I have been thinking for a little while now about why even in the worst of times I always try to smile. I realize that in some cases it is simply the person who is sitting next to me and is willing to put their arm around me which was the case last night. And I love that person for doing so, but on a daily basis I think the person that gives me the strength to smile is a certain someone.
Mia has been in my life for a few years now. She has always inspired me to look at the good parts of life, but this past summer she made me smile more times that I could ever attempt to count. Even when I was in the worst mood, she cheered me up and reminded me that I am strong, beautiful person.
Mia has inspired me to keep smiling no matter what life throws at me. To be proud of who I am and to stay strong through the easiest and toughest of times.
Mia you are such an incredible inspiration to me each and every day. I think that you are one of the most unique and beautiful people that I have ever met. You have gone through things that I couldn't even begin to imagine, but I am thankful that you did and that you are a part of my life. Thank you for everything (including picking me up on Friday). I love you and I will see you soon. <3

The person who inspires me to live in the moment...
This one is hard for me because there have been a few wonderful people that have been or are apart of my life that have taught me to live in the moment. The person that has hands down inspired me the most though is Amy.
I have known Amy for quite awhile although I will admit that before this past summer we were not near very close. I think that the reason Amy inspires me is because she isn't afraid to not be ordinary. Since graduating, she has been through the Katimavik program as well as travelling to Costa Rica for a volunteer trip. Amy the reason that you inspire me so much is because no matter how much you travel and volunteer you remember that school is important.
You have taught me to prioritize what I am doing and realize that education is important. But you have also taught me that this is my life to live and to live it to my fullest potential. To travel and do the things that make me happy and not to keep people in my life that make me upset or angry.
Thank you Amy for being such an amazing support for me. And for blogging your blog posts always cheer me up. I miss you everyday. You inspire me so much. <3 I can't wait to see you while I am home. :)
